After every visit with my doctor, I find myself struggling to remember what was said. The medical terminology just slips away from me. In certain situations, I had to make important treatment decisions based on my flimsy memory. The situation is much worse for my parents after visiting the Doctor. They don’t remember what the Doctor said and frequently argue about what they need to do. The most frustrating part is that when they seek my advice, there’s no effective way to share the visit information.

I know I’m not alone in this. Clinical studies show that over 50% of the information from a doctor’s visit is forgotten immediately, and much less is retained over time. Even more concerning, over 15% of the information is remembered incorrectly.
